TWO DECISIONS ARSENE WENGER NEEDS TO MAKE BEFORE LIVERPOOL GAME

Arsenal and Liverpool meet again for another cracking Premier League Match this season. The first meeting ended in a 4-0 trashing of Arsenal at Anfield by Liverpool lighting attacking force. Arsenal was meant for doom that day already due to the wrong selection by the Stubborn Manager, Arsene Wenger.

The fact is that Arsene Wenger likes getting points from top teams like Liverpool and Chelsea (after Mourinho era). He uses it to appease his fans and massage his unnecessary ego. It is very likely that Arsene Wenger tries to get a revenge over Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium tonight.

ARSENE WENGER NEEDS TO DO 2 THINGS AGAINST LIVERPOOL

First, at his Press Conference, Arsene Wenger sounded unsure whether to use a Back-3 or Back-4 against Liverpool due to the fact that his Back-3 formation didn't work out the previous meeting. It would be better if he uses his back-3 provided that he uses the right players and everyone understands their role in the team well. If Arsenal Players can keep to instructions till the end of the match, they might get a draw against Liverpool.

Second, He needs to drop Alexis Sanchez from the starting line up. Ever since Alexis Sanchez decided to leave Arsenal for a 'better club', the player hasn't been able to reach his heights of last season which is a very huge contrast to Philip Coutinho who has made strides in the red uniform this season. Alexis play has been hindering other team members from playing good attacking football especially Ramsey, who likes to get the ball and dictate Arsenal play. Alexis is just too predictable. Therefore opposition players know when how to tame him in any match so he can't perform.

This would help other Arsenal Players play free football without waiting for when Alexis Sanchez gives them a pass. No one is denying the fact that he isn't a top player but he needs to help the team first before deciding to helping himself.

It's definitely a huge decision for Arsene Wenger to make. His team has to move forward and show the media that there is no power shift in North London.

CHELSEA BOARD: A CAUSE FOR WORRY

By Rildwan Oladejo Since the opening of the January (winter) transfer window of 2018, Chelsea football club has been linked with several football players from home and abroad. Most transfer windows are characterized by reports from various sources (confirmed and unconfirmed), but in every rumour there's an iota of truth. Inarguably, the team is currently rocked by crisis. Whatever it is that is the main cause of this "shadow-crisis" remains a mystery. However, a few options come to mind - Conte's future, the formation change, rumours of players likely departure and/or new arrivals struggle to adapt to life in the English premier league. Could this be why numerous players are constantly being linked to the club? Morata; the team's main point man is misfiring; Hazard's contract extension talks ongoing and Bakayoko is another player struggling with confidence in the midfield... where is the Chelsea Football Club we are accustomed to? The midfield o...

STOKE CITY APPOINTS PAUL LAMBERT AS MANAGER

Stoke City have appointed former Aston Villa and Norwich boss Paul Lambert as manager.   Stoke are 18th in the Premier League table, a point away from safety, and were sent out of the FA Cup by Coventry City ( League Two side ) .  Lambert hasn't managed any team since leaving Wolves at the end of last season. He has also managed Colchester, Wycombe Wanderers and Blackburn.  Stoke chairman Peter Coates said: "Paul greatly impressed us with his knowledge of our squad and had a clear plan of how he would improve our results. "He's a man who backed himself as a player, none more so than when he turned down contract offers in Scotland to go on trial in the German Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund, and it's obvious he adopts the same approach as a manager." Vice-chairman John Coates added: "Paul has been successful in management at clubs with a strong and stable background and with local ownership - the kind of foundation we are able to give ...
