ARSENAL SIGN PROMISING YOUNG DEFENDER

Arsenal have completed the signing of Greek defender Konstantinos Mavropanos from PAS Giannina for £2.2million. 

The German defender arrived from PAS giannina after making 16 appearances for the senior team. Konstantinos has been regarded as one of the best young defenders in Europe after representing Greece U-21 side. however, the young defender will be loaned out for the rest of the season because he is not ready to play for Arsenal according to a club official. 


THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT KONSTATINOS
1. He was born in Athens
2. Mavropanos began his career with the youth side at  Apollon Smyrni where he stayed for eight years.
3. He then joined Superleague Greece side PAS Giannina in January 2016, signing a three-and-a-half year contract.
4.Mavropanos made his competitive debut for PAS Giannina in the Greek Cup on 29 November 2016. He started and played the full match as Giannina won 1–0.
5. Mavropanos made his league debut for PAS Giannina on 5 April 2017 against Veria. He started and played 57 minutes as PAS Giannina lost 3–0
6.He scored his first goal for the club on 19 August 2017 during the first league match of the season against Asteras Tripoli. He 19th minute goal would be winner in a 2–1 victory.
7. Mavropanos was then voted man of the match in PAS Giannina's draw against AEK Athens on 27 August 2017
8. On 4 January 2018, it was announced that Mavropanos had signed for Premier League side Arsenal.

YERRY MINA HAS AGREED TO MOVED TO MANCHESTER UNITED

Reports from Spain mundo depotivo  suggests that Barcelona defender, Yerry Mina has agreed personal terms with Manchester United to move to Old Trafford before the transfer window closes in England. United has been leading the chase for the defender's signature, who impressed with Colombia at the World Cup, as they look to bolster their back line. The report claims a fee with Barcelona, who signed Mina in January and used sparingly, is yet to be agreed. WILLIAN TRANSFER TAKES NEW TURN WITH THESE RECENT CLAIMS
